The COVID crisis has changed the way we work, communicate and interact with one another. With almost all OSCE staff now telecommuting, it is more important now than ever to consider gender implications of home office and “work-life” balance. While this “new normal” of working has an impact all of us, employees with care responsibilities are disproportionately affected, particularly women as they represent the vast majority of individuals who still shoulder the main load when it comes to care responsibilities towards children, elderly parents or relatives. Here are some tips for managers created by the Gender Section and the Department of Human Resources, which were distributed to the entire Organization.
