The OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek (POiB) attaches profound importance to gender mainstreaming across all its projects and activities in the Kyrgyz Republic. While gender mainstreaming is one of the key tools for reaching gender equality, it takes constant capacity building, information dissemination, targeted steps, and strong commitment to achieve it. The OSCE Academy in Bishkek (the Academy), one of the POiB’s flagship biggest projects requires a gender consultant in order to elaborate the Academy’s Gender Mainstreaming Strategy and provide capacity building for the gender focal point. | ||
Tasks and Responsibilities | ||
The Gender Consultant will be tasked to start the assignment in May and ending by July 2020, assessing the gender mainstreaming situation at the Academy, and perform, inter alia, the following tasks:
