Vacancy
Background | ||
In a globalized society, terrorist groups and their supporters have increased the use of the Internet for recruitment for terrorist purposes and preparation of their activities. Thus, the POiB is planning to develop a website on countering and preventing violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism (VERLT) to contribute to prevention of terrorists from exploiting information and communication technologies. The website will be designed to reinvigorate information exchange on the latest trends related to terrorism and radicalization in Kyrgyzstan. To combat terrorism in full compliance with international human rights standards, the website will serve as an open source to shed light on online activities by terrorist recruiters and their motives, as well as to publish various counter-narratives. |
