Background | ||
The OSCE Mission to Skopje (the Mission) fully supports the host country in the implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, by inter alia assisting the country in the creation of an effective regulatory and institutional framework in the field of equal treatment and tolerance, including gender equality. As part of the project “Support North Macedonia in advancing Rule of Law and Human Rights", the Mission will assist the national institutions in implementation and creation of policies and related infrastructure in the area of anti-discrimination, gender equality and gender-based violence against women as in line with the OSCE commitments. This is directly linked with the drafting of the Gender Equality Law (GEL) and the relevant by-laws. In 2021, jointly with the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy (MLSP), the Mission will continue to support the drafting of the new GEL and the relevant by-laws arising from it, especially the Rulebook on the affirmative measures, the Guidelines on the gender mainstreaming and others. For this purpose, The Mission is looking to engage two (2) National Experts/Consultants. |

Remuneration Package | ||
For the services provided, the honoraria will be in the total amount of EUR 2,500.00 per expert. Payment will be made in one instalment upon successful completion of all tasks and responsibilities. The foreseen period of engagement is from May to September 2021. |
