Background | ||
Majority of the population believes that corruption in Tajikistan is at a high level: entrepreneurs and general population perceive education and culture as the first cause of corruption, while public officials indicate it as second cause right after low salaries . Corruption is entangled in various sectors of society, especially in areas such as police, health and education, which are arguably the most important services in the country. Brief description: A national graphic designer will design five different types of banners, posters and leaflets with anti-corruption messages for promoting the civic participation in anti-corruption efforts and the use of right to free access to information, specifically targeting certain groups, such as women and young people. In order to support efforts and include broader audience in combating corruption, the OSCE POiD supported the establishment of the Coalition of Civil Society Organizations on Transparency and Anti-corruption in 2019. In 2020, the Good Governance Unit, in collaboration with the CSOs, will promote awareness among citizens on the negative consequences of corruption through an effective integrated public-awareness raising campaign. The campaign will include promotion of state institutions and necessity of general public people to be more active in anti-corruption efforts. Throughout the campaign, materials will be disseminated to citizens and posted in public buildings, specifically targeting groups such as women and young people. Objective: The purpose of this assignment is to develop materials for raising public awareness on negative impacts of corruption and increasing active role of citizens in combating corruption. |

Reporting: The graphic designer will work under the general guidance of the Head of Economic and Environmental Department and the direct supervision of the Good Governance Officer of the OSCE POiD. The graphic designer will report to the Good Governance Officer. |

Remuneration Package | ||
