Water resources management in Central Asia and Afghanistan is one of the major drivers of economic development in the region. Often, the research community of Central Asia and Afghanistan is actively engaged in water resource management initiatives leading to relevant policy studies. Researchers and academics are closely interacting with policy makers from national and international agencies for the development of water resources management agendas on national and regional level. A significant contribution of the research conducted by Central Asia and Afghanistan institutions is well reflected in national water policy documents and transboundary policy frameworks. Training objective: The objective of the scientific writing training course is to enhance the scientific community in Central Asia and Afghanistan in writing research for policy articles related to water resources management issues of the region. | Tasks and Responsibilities | |||

The trainers should:
The program should be shared with the organizers no later than August, 15, 2018. The organizers shall reserve the right to make changes into the proposal. 2. To develop a list of materials and equipment necessary to conduct tr aining sessions; 3. Be involved in the selection of workshop participants by scrutinizing and ranking the applications; 4. Undertake the training for five days in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on September 3-7, 2018 in English. Here, the trainers are expected to use a participatory and interactive approach with the workshop participants. 5. Provide a final report upon the delivery of the workshop (within 2 weeks); The instructors will provide two reports, the first one to be submitted to OSCE POiD after the completion of the writing workshop and the second to be submitted to CAREC after the hands-on mentoring training. Reporting: After delivery of the training (within 2 weeks), the trainers should submit a report to the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe. The report should include the following:
