This position is open for secondment only and participating States are kindly reminded that all costs in relation to this assignment at the Secretariat must be borne by their authorities. The Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings represents the OSCE at the political level on anti-trafficking issues. This Office assists the OSCE participating States in the implementation of commitments and recommendations, inter alia set forth in the OSCE Action Plan to Combat Trafficking in Human Beings (CTHB), ensures co-ordination of the OSCE’s efforts in CTHB across all three dimensions of the OSCE and provides direct advice and assistance to the participating States in policy development and technical areas, upon request. |
Tasks and Responsibilities |
Under the direct supervision of the Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, the incumbent will assist and advise OSCE participating States in the implementation of the OSCE Action Plan to Combat Trafficking in Human Beings, other OSCE anti-trafficking commitments, and the UN Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons.
