Background
This vacancy is open only for persons with citizenship or permanent residence of the Republic of Serbia.
The OSCE Mission to Serbia is looking for a local consultant to manage contents of the online youth platform "Humans of Albania and Serbia" (www.youthumans.net). The platform has been launched as part of the agreement between Serbia and Albania on co-operation on youth issues and is supported by the OSCE field operations in the two countries.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The consultant will work in the Human Rights and Non-Discrimination Section of the Democratization Department and will assist in content management, contributors’ co-ordination and editing of the website Humans of Albania and Serbia (www.youthumans.net). Specifically, the consultant will:
- Support contributors in delivering content and actively work on development of internal communication and growth of the network;
- Coordinate execution of development and implementation plans among contributors;
- Do optimization (Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Human Eye Optimization (HEO)) and editing for all inputs for the website;
- Work on growth of the database on the website;
- Tailor and modify publishing plans in accordance to analytics available;
- Monitor and collect press clippings of any Humans of Albania and Serbia related content;
- Produce content for the website on a regular basis, especially in regard to ongoing Humans of Albania and Serbia projects and other activities as required;
- Produce briefs and visual materials promoting the platform, as required;
- Manage other tools/means of communication related to Humans of Albania and Serbia (G-drive, Slack, social media groups);
- Actively look out for opportunities to promote the platform and the project per se;
- Resolve minor Content Management System (CMS) tasks, such as update of WordPress (WP) and similar.
All tasks will be conducted in close collaboration and co-ordination with the staff of the OSCE Mission to Serbia responsible for the project (online and minimum one weekly physical meeting) and in a participatory manner with other contributors of the website.
Necessary Qualifications
- Citizenship or permanent residence of the Republic of Serbia;
- University degree in journalism, communications or social sciences;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in maintaining youth-related online platforms of various types and social media;
- Thorough understanding of the youth policy in general, bilateral and regional context in this regard;
- Extensive proven knowledge of digital literacy and concrete digital skills such as video/photo editing, SEO, WP etc.;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Serbian;
- Knowledge of Albanian would be an asset;
- Computer literate with practical experience in Microsoft packages;
- Background in working with diverse groups of young people, with emphasis on leading roles;
- Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, as well as the ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities.

Remuneration Package
The consultant will be employed from 20 September to 19 December 2017, and will be paid the total amount of up to 1,200 EUR, commensurate to the selected consultant's qualifications and experience.
