Tasks and Responsibilities |
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Office (HoO) and direct supervision of the Deputy Head of Office (DHoO), the Senior Executive Officer performs the following duties:
-
Supports senior management on all matters related to strategic planning; analyzes and evaluates the processes with the aim of enhancing the programmes within the OSCE Office in Tajikistan and develops the best practices in this respect;

Supervises, supports and co-ordinates all units and services under the Office of the Head of Office Programme and five Field Offices;
-
Under the direction of the DHoO and in close co-operation with Heads of Departments and the Chief of Finance and Administration, ensures the timely completion of the annual planning and evaluation processes including the Programme and Project Implementation Plans; Project Implementation Reports and regular Programme Implementation Review;
-
Requests, collates and consolidates the input for policy and planning documents, and project reports for DHoO and HoO;
-
Advises and provides technical support to the HoO, DHoO and Programme Managers on the technical aspects of the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of project activities within the Office's thematic programmes as well as extra-budgetary projects;
-
Serves as a Project Manager for all project activities carried out under the Office of the Head of Office Programme;
-
Liaises, co-ordinates and supports co-operation between the OSCE and parliamentary, governmental and non-governmental actors, as well as the other international partners in Tajikistan;
-
Supports co-ordination and communication with the other OSCE field missions in Central Asia;
-
Directly supervises three international and seven national staff members in the performance of their duties;
-
Performs other duties as required.
