Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience including minimum 1 year in a relevant field strongly preferred

Mission Specific Requirements |
Additionally, this particular post has specific requirements:
Mandatory:

Tasks and Responsibilities |
Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Head of the Police Development Department (PDD), the Reporting and Analysis Officer:
-
Drafts all PDD reports for the Mission and Secretariat, including weekly, monthly, background, spot and annual reports;
-
Researches, compiles and analyzes information concerning PDD activities and reports through the established reporting channels;
-
Prepares speaking points, briefing papers and similar documents;
-
Takes notes and provides minutes of meetings as assigned by the Head of the Department;
-
Proof reads various planning and reporting documents;
-
Drafts press releases and other public materials to promote the PDD's activities; reviews and suggests updates for the Mission/Department's website;
-
Ensures that the PDD personnel are informed of the activities of other mission Departments/Units as well as of other OSCE field missions and Institutions in a timely manner;
-
Drafts, reviews or edits PDD's contributions for any of the Mission's publications;
-
Advises and guides PDD staff on reporting issues and co-ordinates the reporting activities within the Department, while ensuring quality in information gathering and reporting;
-
Liaises with national and international authorities and other Mission's Units to ensure the co-ordination of activities and analysis of information related to PDD activities;
-
Performs other duties as required.
