The OSCE Office in Tajikistan is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Tajik professional with strong analytical skills for the position of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Assistant with its main Office in Tajikistan.

     
Tasks and Responsibilities
     
   

Under direct supervision of the Senior Anti-Corruption Officer, the incumbent provides programmatic and administrative support to the programme activities in the Anti-Corruption and Good Governance unit, including the following duties:

  • Assists in planning of programme activities and in developing project proposals of the Good Governance unit;
  • Manages administration and logistical support of the Programme’s anti-corruption projects;
  • Supports the Senior Anti-Corruption Officer in reviewing project documents and budget proposals;
  • Maintains and develops excellent relationships with the partners of the Office in state structures, and attends relevant meetings;
  • Maintains and develops close contacts with universities, and civil society, and international organizations for the facilitation of programme implementation;
  • Reviews relevant legislation and anti-corruption policies, and monitors legal and political developments in the field of anti-corruption;
  • Monitors the project implementation carried out by partner organizations, and, is responsible for the financial monitoring and reporting as well as the follow-up;
  • Drafts internal reports and press releases in English, Russian and/or Tajik and assists with translation if required;
  • Performs other relevant work as required.
     
Necessary Qualifications
     
   
  • Secondary education, supplemented by formal training in secretarial/office skills, language training;
  • A minimum of four years of office work experience in project management, programme strategies, budget preparation, preferably with an international organization;
  • Computer literate with practical experience in Microsoft packages;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Russian and in Tajik;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and high level of diligence;
  • Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural backgrounds.

Remuneration Package
     
   

Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions, is 751.50 EUR. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.

Appointments are normally made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale. At the discretion of the appointing authority a higher step may be approved up to a maximum of step 3 subject to specific conditions.
